Texas Health and Science University is located at 2015 S. I35, Suite 250, Austin TX 78741. Conveniently located off Interstate 35 on the frontage road, southeast of downtown Austin, this neighborhood offers numerous amenities. From nearby pharmacies and grocery stores to a variety of shopping and dining options, there is easy access to essentials. The THSU clinic and main campus are housed on the 2nd floor of the Southcliff building in Suite 200 and Suite 250. The clinic includes a welcoming reception area, professional and student intern treatment rooms and an herbal dispensary. The main campus maintains administrative offices, five classrooms, faculty and staff areas, and the library. Affordable apartments, rental houses, and shopping centers are a short distance from the THSU campus, and many students live within a few miles of the school.
Along with a comprehensive academic curriculum, THSU offers its students practical hands-on experience in providing acupuncture treatments and receiving treatments through its student intern clinic. Our student interns practice what they’ve learned in a professional setting under the supervision of licensed acupuncturists who serve as clinic supervisors. Additionally, students are encouraged to receive treatments at a reduced cost to experience the holistic benefits of the treatments they are learning to administer.
The THSU Student Intern Clinic shares its facility with Acupuncture Health Clinic, a professional acupuncture services clinic that provides a location for our faculty to practice their profession.
