Dr. Lin is an experienced leader and facilitator in the area of lean-agile mindset and continuous improvement. His 30 years of experience spans various industries, such as healthcare, service, and manufacturing. He has facilitated over 200 large and medium scale projects by leveraging his extensive and deep understanding of the business process, risk and data analysis, decision making, text mining, machine learning, lean six sigma, human factors, and innovation to help companies achieve better results and improved customer experience. In addition to his professional experience in the United States, Mexico, and Taiwan, Dr. Lin has also served as a program/session chair and co-chair for various international conferences. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers or book chapters since 2014, which includes 10 SCI/SSCI indexed journal articles, more than 10 EI/Scopus indexed articles, and a book titled “Work-Study-Industry 4.0” (6th edition). He has taught various management courses in colleges such as Purdue University, University of Texas at San Antonio, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and National United University in Taiwan. His teaching philosophy has always revolved around patience, open-mindedness, motivation, fun, and preparing students for success both within and outside the academic environment.
