Mission Statement

Founded in 1990, Texas Health and Science University (THSU) features the oldest Traditional Chinese Medicine program in Texas. THSU aims to educate diverse healthcare providers and business leaders whose skills, knowledge, and compassion promote the wellness and economic improvement of their communities. The curriculum offers an integrated, holistic educational experience that encourages lifelong learning and respectful interaction in an inclusive academic environment.

Institutional Objectives

Our institutional objectives are to foster and cultivate a community of scholars with the self-development and intellectual rigor needed to succeed in our more globalized world. At THSU, our students will integrate the applications they have attained, through in-person or online experiences, to move into the realms of their prospective fields with a solid foundation for the purpose of imparting their knowledge and skills that will contribute to the community for the greater good of our society.
